On the Longarm

A friend's request had me suggesting a selection of whole cloth pieces, and I'm now quilting her choice. I love quilting what I've printed, as the road map is already there. Hope to finish soon, and am looking forward to staying in for the snowfall expected tomorrow.

Before I Shovel the Roof

We've enough snow to trigger a visit from the trusty snow plow, and cue my dance with the roof rake to take off part of the snow load. The rest of the day was organize, get a plane ticket to Australia, and clean up the piles of paper that were heaped from the Christmas clearing. A good new year start!

Tomorrow is Another

As for getting things accomplished, there should be no outside distractions, and with an oncoming storm I was grounded and able to get to the tasks at hand. But, no, distraction took over, and such is life. Three items were crossed off my list, and as Scarlett would say "Tomorrow is another day".

How It is Sometimes

Somehow I managed to catch a cold, which is what this looks like. Even though here in the Northeast we had a 70 degree day with loads of sunshine. Still, this is my foggy head. Let's hope it clears.

Fall Encompasses Us All

I've no new 'today' images, as I've just finished a two day workshop. This is the view outside one of the classrooms at Art Quilt Tahoe. I reminded me that fall would be waiting for me home, and yes, that bit of leaf piling I did last night before it got too dark to see.

A Frost (Finally)

I can't show you the frost on the roof, or the wilt of the leaves. But they are finally there, and I can chop down my garden and put it to bed for the winter. Which leaves me to seek warm, rich, highly caloric food. Evidenced here.

No, It's Not That Hot

Taken back in 2007 in Arizona. Love the fact that someone would press in those letters one by one. No digital nothing. And when you are there, you are not even feeling hot. New York humid is hot. Even at their (Arizona) low.
