Of Course

I voted early, as I'll be at Art Quilt Tahoe for the vote day. Glad that we are able to vote every which way -- early, by mail, on the day. It should be this easy for everyone. I could have voted at the Susan B. Anthony museum, but it doesn't matter where, just that I did. I'll think about her a lot, as we should. 
 

One Voice, One Vote

I used to be a one item voter, but now I see many things that compel me to vote. Voting is less than a mile from home, with no lines. Wish others could cast their ballot as easily.

Hometown Girl

Susan B. Anthony made her life's work women's right to vote. I voted today on the 100th anniversary of that milestone for New York. And voted in the city where she lived (and voted in 1872) and returned again and again to refuel and return to fight for women's right to vote.

Popular Votes

At the quilt show for the Tompkins County Quilt Guild, visitors vote for what their favorite. For my category -- large contemporary -- I got one of the three thirds (no, that doesn't make a whole). Yes, we are the popular gals.

Got Out and Voted

Youngest of the clan voted for the first time. Glad, so glad, that we share the same politics, so that I could speak my mind and not fear offense. Now to wait for the morning's news. And, yes, I think of Susan B., hometown girl, and her fight on this momentous day.
