Challenge Your Selfies

Second Saturday was today with a round of artists talking about their work. Beth explained her portrait in oil, a serious rendition of herself, and very similar to what she is today. I spoke on my abstract piece, others on their portraits, and all were engaging. Take in a challenge, always worth it.
 

Evening Lecture

I visited Minneapolis tonight. Just for a little while, to show them my work and talk about my studio. Outside my door was a warm, clear evening; there the sun hadn't yet set. All in this virtual life, me looking at me, looking at them, all laughing with a second time delay. What a nice evening.
 

Full Zoom Ahead

It was not the same as being there, but the closest it could be. My virtual lecture for the Tompkins County Quilt Guild had my lecture, a brief house tour, a demonstration on how to hang a quilt (sans nails), and live virtual show and tell of my work. Almost as good as live. Thanks TCQG!

Inside It Was Spring

Yes, a blanket of snow for the Salem Quilt Guild's Spring Tea was outside. Inside was a lovely lunch, and then I got to speak about quilting's challenges. Lovely group of people, and lovely day regardless of the weather.
