Graphics for Trust the Land

Four artists (one is moi) are in a show that opens next weekend at The Dove Project. I volunteered to design and make the title wall. I've five panels, this one is mine. Lucky to have a clear cutting table and that gorgeous long for trimming. Yes, that's my fabric cutter used for paper. I'll change it out soon.

Labels

I'm using a repro low tack adhesive film to print my labels and then cut apart to use for my exhibit. I've used these for more than twenty years, and I love that they are clean and don't mar the wall. This is my test in the kitchen!

Artist's Statement

For me, the artist statement must be about the piece we're looking at, and nothing else. This is a beautiful example of that. And a stunning piece. Well spoken, well done. I've debated, and decided I'll not show the worst example. Not here. Just the good. This is from Q=A=Q at the Schweinfurth.

Never Know

Anna Brown states "The lake near my home still reflects the aftermath of the catastrophic fires of the summer..." But when I look at the work, I can't know the subject matter through visual queues alone. I find the work compelling, just add my own interpretation. This is at the Schweinfurth's Q=A=Q exhibit.
