Checking tthte Flight Plan

Before the plane was the ferry, then a meeting of Contemporary Quilt Art Association in Seattle (a pleasant surprise item on the agenda) then lunch across from Seattle's "running of the bulls" and check in to drop luggage. Then the plane. What a day!

John Grade's "Middle Fork" fills the entrance lobby of the Seattle Museum of Art. This was one of my stops today before heading of to Coupeville tomorrow. So wish I had more time. This is a splendid place to visit.

Other Side of the Continent

A backward glance here from my hammock perch. But I write from the other side of the states -- the Northwest Coast. It's a Seattle landing and a day to see what I can fit in. More later, for now it's best to sleep.
