Painted Fabric Leaf
My "painted" fabric is fun, but needs a project. Since I'll be teaching The New Big Leaf class on Wednesday, I used it here. Cut from mainly one yard, I like it! I'll be teaching how to make this fabric at Pro Chemical and Dye. https://prochemicalanddye.net/. And at QSDS in June, I'll show you how I compose and design. http://www.qsds.com/aboutqsds.html

What Goes Up Must Come Down
It was time to take down Time of Day at the AXOM gallery. Just in time for me to ship out one of the pieces to the Yeiser Art Center, and bundle a few others for some road trips in the next week. I can feel spring nipping at me to get moving.

One More Week in the Lights

At Tonight's Opening
Yes, it was 6 degrees outside tonight, but the walls were glowing, and the crowd was cosy. Lots of great friends who came out, and many new ones. My work is up till March 14 at the AXOM Gallery, and next week will be another open house for First Fridays. If you visit, tell Margot how beautifully she installed the work.

Going Up on the Walls
"Time of Day" is the series here, and it was installed today at the AXOM Gallery. Fun to see them in different and beautiful light. Opening is Saturday night.

Point of Inspiration
Bill Stewart gave a great talk tonight at AXOM gallery on his shamanistic ceramic figures. But before he got images up, I saw this. Rain puddled on the roof to bounce that red building, and a train whistles by. This would be a great composition to try.
