Now that I've an artificial tree (no need to water) I can use fancier tree skirt stuff. I've a drawer full of embellished Indian skirts (lehengas) that are the perfect spark. This one is my favorite set of colors.

Fabric Holiday
A friend's visit today had a bit of show and tell of the costumes I wore a year ago for my daughter's wedding. The outfits certainly held her interest, both because she is a textile historian, and for the peculiarity of the Indian fabrics. After, we went out to a quilt shop for fabric, and I tucked these back in the closet.

Sorry Work
I've the task of choosing a saree for an upcoming wedding. These are all on loan, and all are scrumptious. Makes me want to dye those colors, those silks, those beautiful patterns.
