This exhibit was on during my last class at the Schweinfurth "Maya Textiles and Identity in Guatemala". I took a break and caught some of the works. The weaving is superb, and the colors rich. You can still see it on view until October 14.
Priscilla brought beautiful things from her recent trip to tempt us, and this bag was my favorite. The beading was superb, and the scarves were also brilliant. Her eye is very sharp and she knows just what is best. Happy Birthday, Priscilla.
