Cutting apart the 'blob' is always tricky, as so much has gone into making it. Here Wendy is using her own printed fabric, all with beautiful tones and changes in color. What a great class, we're getting into Design Camp for sure.

I'm Missing Fun
I had looked for a pic in the camera roll only to stumble on this group of Queensland Quilters. This is so much a part of what I do -- meet so many great people -- where we spend a day or two forgetting the world's worries, getting immersed in design, art, color. Whatever. Just a wonderful memory.

Remembering
Today a snapshot of my class in Geelong went in my student email binder. I lingered on this photo. Not because the group was from Australia, though that gave it a measure of different, but because there were each such wonderful and giving people with with to spend a week. I am so lucky.

What It is All About
Yes we come together for a week, and yes we work hard to learn to advance out skills, and yes we invest time and energy. But we share and share and share. With classmates, with strangers, with close friends. I did, my students did, and now you know too.
