Mid Week Art Center Visit

QBL makes sure that our plate is full. We've classes, banquets, auctions, lectures, demonstrations, a quilt show, raffles, and yes, an evening dedicated to seeing the exhibition now on view at the Schweinfurth Art Center. It's all about fiber, so very timely. Go visit, it's a thought provoking show.
 

I'm a FAN

Fiber Art Now (that's FAN to you) came today with the article that I wrote "An Artist's Sense of Place." It's a wonderful magazine -- and it's sold everywhere --  that you need to discover.  And not just because yours truly wrote and article.

Using a Photo to Jump Start

The second day of my Florida workshop, and An is scrutinizing a photo to see what area she will use for her composition. I know, it is supposed to be lunch, but there was NO REST from this group of hard working, and terribly fun women. Loved my visit.
