Running Errands

After the crunch to finish the fashion show, I realized several tasks needed care. So, checking off items on the list meant a trip through the finger lakes south of home, by about an hour. I headed back as darkness fell, with enough light to capture the view of Canandaigua Lake looking north. It's a grand landscape.

I'm Not Sailing Away

There is a project that I've been working on, unrelated to my fiber work, that takes me about an hour away each week or so to Canandaigua at the southern edge of the lake of the same name. It is a gem of the Finger Lakes, and as I pass this each time I am there, I made a point to walk the lake path.

Night Off

Last night I went to take a walk along the Canandaigua pier at night. My reward for ending 12 consecutive days of teaching. I won't show you the small ice cream cone that capped the dinner. Let's just pretend that this walk burned up the 1,000 calories from that extravaganza. I'll be back at QSDS in 2022.

Image Less

Well, huff, there seems to be a glitch in the blogger program tonight. Seems I can't upload in image. And that means I've nothing to show. So, quick tell. Went to see Nancy Murty's show in Canandaigua today. She is a fabulous realistic painter who takes such care to depict birds and nature with vibrant color and strong design. You'll have to imagine, I've not a photo to show.
