I Got Nothin'
It was a packing day, errand day, drive around day. All done, and water over the bridge, or in this case, the spillway of the Genesee River. So, no news today, or at least nothing I photographed. Tomorrow is another day!

Solstice Light
It was an evening to spend counting down daylight from a tall roof, and best I could think of was the top of the Genesee Brewery. With a beer in one hand and camera in the other, I waited for a train to cross the bridge over the Genesee Falls. Now for summer.

Wide and Stitched
"Genesee" is now installed at the Stitched exhibit in Memphis. Made to withstand outdoor weather it is made with denier nylon and synthetic fabrics. Large? 24 feet wide by 12 high.

Behind the Scenes
"Genesee," my piece hanging from the roof of the WXXI building is anchored with garbage bags filled with more discarded nylon material. Here Bev is fixing one of the six panels. Oh, yes, and some bags of topsoil for extra weight.

"Genesee" at High Falls
I made this for the Greentopia event this week at High Falls in Rochester. It is about 12' high and 24' wide, and flaps in the breeze. My thanks to Scott Grove for including me, and to WXXI for letting it hang from their roof. Go see it if you can. Till next Monday, I guess. The festival is the 15th and 16th.

Genesee Falls Backdrop
Behind me (as I stand on the Pont de Rennes bridge) is the Genesee Falls, just north of the Rochester's downtown. My work "Genesee" mimics the falls, and I install it Monday. Just checking the real thing today for accuracy. Ha.
