Comparisons

We are in the thick of party versus party. I like the opposition made in this photo of two flowers and two people,  Perspective, scale, size, and image are determined by our vantage point.

Summer Leaping

A tour of Longwood Gardens included a visit through the du Pont summer home, complete with interpretive panels. This graphic explains what they thought of fun back "in the day." Du Pont referred to the dancers as "anesthetic" rather than "aesthetic."

Garden of Delights

I'd heard of Longwood Gardens from friends for years. So, my travels were going near, and I stopped in to walk the paths. A bit of history and a lot of color, and I can see botanical forms creep in to the studio.
