Remembering Napa Crafters

I'm posting this for Tuesday. My flight out was a red-eye and I completely forgot to get this in. But I do want to remember the act of watching friends honor their work and influence. Midge does this, and me too. Thanks to starting my year off just right!

Fireworks in Sydney

I've taken the finished work over to Vision 2020 at the Anderson Alley (Rochester, NY) studio room 404 for this month. The 60 works of portraits will open Friday night, I'll see you there.

Weekend Pop Up

Pillows plumped and scarves draped, I've set up work in the gallery full of color and cloth. I love to share this world of art quilting visitors. And a shout out to Martha Sielman's book on Abstract and Geometric quilts -- handy to share with visitors, offering the world of art quilts.

Virtual Reality

Art Quilts International: Abstract & Geometric by Martha Sielman arrived today, and I had to do a double take. Yup. That's the cover. Yup. That's over my couch.

Hanging from the Rafters

This weekend my work will be in Stephen Merritt's studio for the Art in June 2016 series. You can just spot the "tie rods" -- or as I call them rafters -- where we dropped a line to hook into the hanging slat. There is more work to add, but mine is set for now.
