The Apron Wraps the Night

The closing banquet for QBL (Quilting By the Lake) has several events like a basket raffle, quilt raffle, lovely dinner and Apron Auction. Each of the four instructors made smashing aprons, mine was bid embarrisling high, and Lisa, one of my indepentend students for the week bid highest. I love that it's hers!

Install Day

The Dove Project Block in Geneva, New York is hosting a group exhibit where my work is combined with Connie Ehindero's, Bill Stephen's, and Karen Frutigar's work. It opens Friday, then comes down September 3rd. Our topical topic is "Trust the Land" and worth a look.

Recon Mission

The Dove Project in Geneva, New York, has a lovely gallery. An opening today of Maureen Church's landscapes was the excuse for my small quartet to 'case' the place for our show this summer. Arthur Dove, noted painter, lived and worked in this building during his career. More later.

Dry Day

Whilst these soda ashed fabrics dry on the line, I've gone out to Geneva, New York to set up my booth at the Lake to Lake Quilt Show where I'll be selling fabrics. It is Saturday and Sunday. Come find me to see how I take white fabric and make it something else.
