Floral Abundance

On extended loan, this Lily Pods quilt is quite content being on a green wall. We so often see works on a stark white background, forgetting that the world paints rooms in color. I designed a quilt exhibition that  stipulated their period quilts not be shown on a white wall.
 

In a Different Light

I often complain that seeing works hung in a gym or pipe and drape show doesn't do it justice. So, I was surprised when I documented the current state of my living room, and noticed the work I hung behind the couch I had featured a couple of days ago in this blog. Check it out, end of discussion.

On the Wall

Started back spring, this water lily pods are now catching the winter light. I've finally finished the piece, which is split to be a diptych. Nice to have January cleaning make way for new art.
