Staying with a friend in Philadelphia I was treated to a glimpse of her quilt collection. Most were made by her relatives, all were in perfect condition, and as a group were charming. I love collections, and seeing other's choices shows me a side of them I find interesting and broadening.
I am looking at objects a lot these days. Collecting is a passion, and arranging things is not a random act. This haphazard group is from my friend's house. Symmetry reigns, if you take out that duck. But then, why would you?
