We were entertained last night when we stopped in to visit good friends. Their granddaughter was busy entertaining her dolls in a tea party. It's what we do -- get together, mark the passages (oh, new baby since last year?) and remember that friends and family are what it's all about. Hope your eve is lovely too.

Fiber Friends
We all have friends that gather who share our interest. The Finger Lakes Fiber Artists meet every couple of months and look at work, work through some technical questions, and question what makes a good piece. If you have even one other who offers that feedback, stick with them -- you're a group.

I've Hit 3000!
Over 8 years I've posted every day. Today the half moon cookie gets marked for the celebration of 3,000th blog post. Lots of life changes -- coming, going, adding, and subtracting. Thanks to my friends who read this, as well as the people I meet who surprise me with "Oh, I read it every day." Who'd have thought?

One is Silver, the Other Gold
Today was an impromptu art fair at friend (on the right) Cris's mother's place. I brought my work and explained myself to who ever passed by. Meeting new friend Sharon (on the left), a tall and talkative jeweler, made my day spin by. I had her wear my scarf, just to see how it would look. Good, I think.
