Full Wolf Moon

Judy Rosenberg's self-portrait seems a fitting full moon for January. Part of a portrait show, this ceramic has wonderful soulful faces, much like the man in the moon. I know I'm a day late reporting the full moon, but the wolf made me wait.
 

They are Findable

The afternoon walk to Santa Fe's historic square and the New Mexico Museum of Art ended at a fabulous look at Rick Dillingham's body of work in ceramics. Titled Rick Dillingham: To Make, Unmake, and Make Again, it informed how to design in three dimensions with surface design. Go.
 

Moon Influenced

I'd capture our full moon tonight save for the cloud cover and my poor camera."Round Vessel with a Torn Mouth" is a ceramic work by Ogawa Machiko in the Yale University Art Gallery.  This has craters and space enough for us to imagine the moonscape. And likely its color.

Building in Small Scale

When I see this I see a tall modern skyscraper with small buildings and activity at the base. In reality, it is a superb ceramic sculpture about 4 feet tall. Posted outside Portland's Eutectic Gallery, ready to get you in the mood for what is inside.
