Final Weekend for Quilts 20/20

It was a couple of years of concern for me to work on this exhibit, and this is its last week at the Susquehanna Art Museum. From left, a bars quilt from the Pilgrim/Roy Collection, a ninepatch from the LancasterHistory.org collection, Dinah Sargeant's piece, and Kathy Loomis' work. All knockouts.

These five works -- Barbara Watler, quilt from the Pilgrim/Roy collection, Elin Noble, Terrie Mangat, and another from the Pilgrim/Roy Collection --- are on the exhibit at the Susquehanna Art Museum in Harrisburg,  Pennsylvania till the end of August. I curated and designed the show, and it can only please.

Catalog for Quilts 20/20

Paula Kovarik designed the catalog for Quilts 20/20. It is a beautiful way to showcase the exhibit, and all of us involved with this project are so grateful to her for her work.

Kathy Loomis' work Crazed 8 is see at right, and shows the large scale of the piece. Quilts 20/20 opened last night in Harrisburg at the Susquehanna Art Museum. I curated and designed the show, and was so pleased how it all turned out. It will be up until August 31.

Getting Ready for Hanging

I've been working on a show I've helped organize for this summer. Here are the metal hanging rods marked for various sizes and ready to be boxed and shipped. I love that these telescope and can be shipped in a smaller height box.
