I'm sure you saw these when I revovered these two chairs with my linen printed fabric. I'll send them back to the person who gave me the chairs. I'm sure she did not expect them to return, and they'll have some life beyond Studio 301.

Pull Up a Chair
Aafke Swart Steenhuis is all about orange. So, no surprise when I found her "Pull Up a Chair" quilt. It's really fabulous. Made by paper piecing, she interspersed Marimekko fabric in places, as well as the frame. The two day quilt show was a hit from the Tompkins County Quilt Guild in NY state.

Sitting or Spinning?
I took a tour of the RIT library today to see an exhibition on photogravure. But I was stopped and thrilled to see these weird chairs in action. I even tried them out, and they were so much fun that my abs hurt from laughing. Good for the days' ills.
