Fiber Friends

We all have friends that gather who share our interest. The Finger Lakes Fiber Artists meet every couple of months and look at work, work through some technical questions, and question what makes a good piece. If you have even one other who offers that feedback, stick with them -- you're a group.

Exquisite Corpse

The "Exquisite Corpse" takes many forms; this game via a friend. As the third player, I took their image and recalculated. It's now a page-sized collage, sewn from a print of their image with added material. I've passed a photo print to number 4. Think of trying it with friends -- virtually.

What Makes You Happy

A dear friend gave me a dozen phoenix ware plates. She knows my heart, and knows what I love. I guess that is what a friend does. Right? Giving away is as good as getting.

Friends

Most of the work I make is abstract, but it does not mean it is devoid of life. I am grateful to many friends who remain admirers, and I could not do without them. So, if you look closely at my images, you can see the life and energy that is there -- certainly not work done in a vacuum.
