More Music

Third night of music, this time at the Eastman Theater to hear the philharmonic. Lovely evening and in a spectacular setting. I'm thankful to have music all around me, its a constant companion.

On Tour

In a few weeks I'll hit the road for a workshop in Washington. Perhaps I should acquire a tour bus, like this one. Can you just see a design wall, cutting table with a handy machine? Anything's possible. This bus was for the performers in the Jazz Festival here tonight, parked at the back of Eastman Theater.

Full, Now Empty House

Concert night in the packed house at Eastman Theater for Vivaldi's Four Seasons and Mozart's Jupiter. This is a look back, when all was cleared and it was time to go home.

Night Lights

It was a night out with friends, music, and a warm-enough spring air. With a White Russian to end the evening.

Night Out

Through the window of the Eastman Theater's lobby's window, snow is falling, and will continue for a day. But ahead of this was a philharmonic concert that was all Beethoven. Just the perfect color and mood for a winter's day.

Congratulate Yourself

The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra seen here last night after the season's finale of the new conductor's inaugural year. Such pomp and regulation, it was almost refreshing to see decorum (and decor, I may add, it was the Eastman Theater) in high form.

Chihuly at the Eastman Theater

Lit up wonderfully is this Dale Chihuly glass sculpture installed in the lobby of the Eastman Theater. Fitting imge for the Nutcracker tonight. (My vet daughter thought it more resembled worms).
