The View of the Mountains

I was so mesmerized with seeing the edge of the front range out my hotel window in Golden that I forgot to take photos of the lecture I gave today. But my wonderfully kind students were there to cheer me on. And looking back at Debi's work, well, I see those mountains after all.

Details, Details, Golden Details

Yes, I'm getting the details set for my trip west. Golden, Colorado the first stop. There's plenty of room in the class on Saturday, so tell your buddies. We'll be doing improv quilting with a lot of design. Oregon from there. But first, a look at the Front Range.

Mini Me

About 20" square, this is a smaller version of the work that will be in the Quilts = Art = Quilts exhibition at the Schweinfurth. I've mailed this today for their silent auction. I wish I had it for my Golden, Colorado class in Improvisational Design. A good freestyle design!

Quilting Time

Most of my day was taken with shipping supplies ahead of my classes at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum in Golden, Colorado (October 13) and then on to Oregon after that. My after dinner task was quilting this little auction quilt for the Schweinfurth. I'll get it faced, sleeved and in the mail soon.

Quilting Time

Got together the piece that had been clinging to the design wall through the summer. Another Take Two, it will be with me on route to Eugene, Oregon next month via Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum. Find my class  at the RMQM under "Adult Education." But sign-up soon.
