My exhibition of 12 works at the New England Quilt Museum in Lowell, Massachusetts enters its last week this week on September 20th, and then I'll welcome them home. It is an honor to be seen is such a lovely venue, and with such care that the staff has given to the installation.

New England's Gem of a Museum
I spent time with works new and old at Lowell's New England Quilt Museum. I was fascinated with the "Summer Collection" with regional quilt groups' work, as well as the the museum's collection. This scrappy historic quilt caught my eye when I thought I was looking at a print, not the batting.

NEQM Lecture Today
Mid-morning I gave a talk where my work is on exhibit in the New England Quilt Museum in Lowell, Mass. A happy crowd was early and filled the room, we all had good laughs throughout the hour, and the questions were insightful, where I was sidetracked (and managed to get back on the road). Thanks NEQM!

New England Quilt Museum
In last night's audience for my online lecture to the NYC Metro Modern Quilt Guild was Christine Janove who'd just seen my exhibition at the New England Quilt Museum. She was kind to send me this photo, and now you know what you'll find if you visit. A big room of big quilts! Thank you Christine!

Tea Party
Tea Party is now on view (or when it opens this Tuesday) at the New England Quilt Museum in an exhibition of my work that will last into the summer. I'm excited to see it and my chance is in August 23 when I'll be giving a lecture there on my work and processes.

Remote at Home
One of the few times I watch movies is when I'm adding a facing to my works. I'd gotten this 'Tea Time' quilted before I left for Michigan, and a chance to add the binding and start sewing after I returned. It'll go to the New England Quilt Museum for the summer and an exhibition of my work. Remote is at the ready.

Lowell is Just Down the Road
While visiting the Merrimack Valley Quilt Guild, I had time to pop over to the New England Quilt Museum. A refreshing show of quilts called "Twisted" paired vintage blocks that were then set in a modern way. Way above average longarm quilters did their magic.
