"Inside and Outside the Box" seen in Philadelphia at the Crane Art Center has this work by April Dauscha. Attitude, class, wonderful.

Art Quilt Elements

Opening tonight of the exhibition in Wayne, Pennsylvania is the work of Paula Kovarik and her piece. The intricate stitching, one continuous black line and one of white, is magnificent. Go, check it out.

Visiting Warton Esherick Museum

Near Paoli, Pennsylvania, is the most wonderful house built by Wharton Esherick. Esherick is considered the dean of American Craft Movement. Each inch of this is a delight and full of spirit, and a testament to living life fully as an artist.

Fab Forsythia

Picked a whole bloomin' bunch of these from Nancy's garden. Love the acid color. And they survived the frost we had here. (Magnolia is toasted.)

Eclectic Garden

Vinnie Massaro created this fabulous city garden on a point of land. He is a sculptor with a knack for using material in wonderful ways. If you drive by Rochester and turn down Canterbury Road, get out of the car and admire.

Montreal Gate

Ribbons of iron just skip round and round as the bracing and support. Could easily be a quilt line.

Ink on Paper

I found this color sample for an exhibition from my past. Why are we so chroma-smitten? I am plugging in paint chips for the exhibit as well. Love that large format color copier.

Equinox

The latest 2012 challenge "Equinox" attempts to explain the lack of continuity, and the result -- kind of a streamlining. Just a quick exercise to warm up the joint(s).

Raining Saucers

I have photographed my magnolia every year.  Spring is early and these seem to be raining down. This tree is one of the anchors in my garden.

Highfield Hall on a Fiber Diet

Finished installation of over 40 pieces in Highfield Hall in Falmouth, Massachusetts. What a beautiful marriage of traditional architecture and modern textiles. I am honored be on view for April! And I will be teaching there April 28, so even more fun.

Installing at Highfield Hall

I have taken over Highfield Hall in Falmouth, Massachusetts with 45 works. Great to work with the crew there, and it is a thrill to be in such a beautiful building. Opens April 1 -- come on over!
