Player Piano was sent to Quilts=Art=Quilts for submission along with another work. This one was not accepted, but the other was. It's about 9 feet wide, or maybe more. I still think it's a strong composition, but I can see that having two accepted is rare.
This will look fantastic somewhere. Someplace with enough room to let it invite the viewer take it in and then walk up to it to explore all those textures. One of those that has to be seen in person.
ReplyDeleteYou are correct. I had it in a show with a very long view, so you saw it far far away. The as you got close, it became even more fascinating.
