I thought you'd enjoy seeing how I spent mother's day. My daughter and son-in-law gifted me a day of work on my new townhouse. New lamp, and hours of stripping wallpaper. Finished with an ice cream cone. One of the best gifts I could have asked for. And I didn't even ask!

Under the Smoke Cloud
For the past few days we've been living with the smoke from Canada's forest fires. So, the landscape has taken on a warmer, diffused light. And it has brought a quiet to the life outside. You can't ignore other's misfortune when you share their effects.

Let There Be Light
The track lights just didn't give me the spread and evenness that I needed to light my design wall. Three LED tube lights were installed today. Having light to work in is just wonderful. Especially on this very gray day.
