I thought you'd enjoy seeing how I spent mother's day. My daughter and son-in-law gifted me a day of work on my new townhouse. New lamp, and hours of stripping wallpaper. Finished with an ice cream cone. One of the best gifts I could have asked for. And I didn't even ask!

Gift Giving
A dear friend ordered two yards of fabric she thought her son might like as wall art. On further thought, we asked her visiting son for his choice, and he choose this piece. Today I felt well enough to get to the longarm and get it quilted. I'll finish tomorrow morning, one of the last 'finishes' of the year.

Studio Visitors
Just before the celebration music party started, I'd a visitor from a friend's granddaughter. She very kindly and freely gifted me her latest art piece, and I caught a quick snap of her with it. They are figures she put in a landscape. Appreciation for art should be now, always, forever.

Exhibitions
Showcasing your work happens in the small arena as well as the grand. A show of Darryl Abraham's sweet burned wood and painted art is in a library case. This image was just enough for me to note to Darryl that I am interested in owning it. So, look everywhere, support your fellow artists, gift art.

Kind Days of Christmas 3
There is a household delight that is found with putting lots of wrapped packages under the tree. It's the wrapping I know that is the drive. Each year my daughter and I vow to not buy anymore, and each year we succumb. Merry Christmas all my dear readers.

Kind Days of Christmas
Unexpected gifts land in my mail. This tin box triggered a discussion we had about motifs, I presume, so it was sent to me. A lovely and kind thought. I'm sure it will travel around the house finding lots of landings. For now, it's at the kitchen window sill. Thank you, Lory.
