Linen Lined Up

After adding a dozen yards of prints, I'm now getting to posting new linen for sale on my website store. I make these for those who love Ariane Zurcher's improv stitching class (and handy YouTube videos -- "On the Other Hand") who use my printed linen as the base for their works. These are some.

Kind Days of Christmas 10

After Christmas I dove back into the studio and printed more linen pieces. Students of Ariane Zurcher like to needlework these, and the kind Ariane let her folks know they were available. Half are gone already. Here's what the bunch looks like.

Linen Sets

Two pieces of linen, each about 18" square, were paired. I love this one because of the changing color, and the high contrast. I'm secretly hoping no one will get this one, it's my fav. These are not yet available to anyone except those in a workshop with Ariane Zurcher.

Linen for Ariane

Ariane Zurcher teaches improvisational needlework. She asked me to print sets of two linen squares for her upcoming class. These are the large pieces before I cut them apart and paired them together. You'd need to be registered in her class to purchase this, but maybe I'll do more after Thanksgiving.

Influences from Afar

My friend Ariane Zurcher has returned from her trip to Africa and we talked yesterday about influences of the cultures there. I shared with her my Kuba cloth pieces, this one is eight feet long and two feet wide. One of the panels is here, and is full of wonderful graphic symbols.

Interview with Ariane Zurcher

Ariane Zurcher asked me to be interviewed. I thought you'd like to see my little setup. Out of sight is some printed linen and silk. You can find the interview on youtube channel "On The Other Hand". Here is a link. (Look for the interviews set. In a day or so.)  https://www.youtube.com/c/ArianeZurcherOntheOtherHand/playlists
