Feathers Always in Season

"Princess Feather Pattern" quilt was loaned by the International Quilt Study Center and Museum to the exhibition still on view at the Schweinfurth Art Center. I love the fingers, the folkesque simplicity, and the color restraint. Not to mention that echo quilting. Made  1850-1870, it's still talking current.
