My soda ash bucket on the left starts with about 4 gallons of solution (once cup soda ash to one gallon water). I add 4 yards loosely to soak. After 15 or more minutes I lift out, squeeze gently, then move to an open grate above a bucket that will collect the dripping soaking solution. When dripping stops, hang.
