Winter Acting Like Spring

Fellow fiber artist tempted me to get out on this mild winter day (43?) to take a hike through one of the oldest established parks in the county. This warm spell can't last, so we take advantage and look forward to this in the real spring.
 

Can't Ignore Mother Nature

Yes, I was that far back. My trail partner had a better (New York style) pace, but I caught up eventually. It was a long printing day, and we were due for a break in the fresh air. 
 

Source Material

I'm committed to making an orange quilt. For a show and soon. How can I start when there is so much of summer I've not taken in? This is just a few houses down from me on my walk around the 'hood. I'll pretend that it's needed source material for the next work.

A Walk in the Woods

I cling to these days where it's a comfortable walk down the street to the patch of old growth we've got near. This is the time before the leaves obscure the path, and the green color is still there, barely. My studio is clear as well, and soon fabric will be strewn about, the path again hard to see.
 

Held at Beauty Point

As I closed up the house for the evening, I realized that I hadn't driven my car (or left the house) all day. But then I remembered that I did take a lovely brilliant-sunset-evening-light walk. And glanced up to a few sycamore, smooth as silk.
