Alien Walking Her Dog is in the bottom half of the pic here. And I realize that it needs to be flipped. Which doesn't explain why I look odd, just my out-and-about look here. You get the idea of how large it is (it's small for me) by what is around it. Do that. Use your work in context so we know its scale. 
 

Just For Scale

I've often suggested that one show one's work on site, or with an object for scale. So, here is the cold of January with the warmth of a garden on the wall.
 

It's All Scale

This giant baby takes up all the horizon and dwarfs the background sculpture. She also is laying on the quilt I made for her. Guess what happens when you wash hot and tumble dry wool batting? Perfect scrunch effect.

Large Graphic Fiber

I love the scale and shapes in this wall piece that I saw during the January open studio tour at Village Gate here in Rochester. There were holes (for a face?) and skillful clear patterning.

Map of the World

If you could not see the surrounding building, you would think this was an image of islands of green surrounded by ocean. That trickster scale. Taken outside of the art museum in Groningen, The Netherlands. And in the building below waterline are the collections on view. Figure that.
