Wool Batting

Whilst cleaning out I found the packaging for the wool batting I'm using. I'm often asked, and can't ever remember. So, here you go. Close look and it's $54.95 at my local quilt shop. Which is think is cheaper than online.

It's a Start

Wool batting was delivered. Now I've got the top started. It'll have to wait till I return from my travels for more quilting, but at least it's a start. And I've got something to return to.

What I Use in Between

I often forget just what I use,and people often ask. Today I opened a new roll of batting. Mine is wool. This gives me a fairly flat sandwich, which I like. I've stopped using cotton because wool is so much lighter to work with, carry around and packs beautifully for travel. All good reasons.

Take Two, Two Sides

Couldn't wait to finish this, and can't figure why. Quilting was finished, and spent the morning sewing the facing and sleeve. The back has a soft commercial backing, so easy to sew by hand. Latest in the "Take Two" series, and I'm eager to pick another pair tomorrow.
