This yard lay soda-soaked, printed, and ready for finishing, for a long time, almost two years. The effort to reduce the unfinished pile paid off, and it can now be called done. My trust that the soda-ashed fabric will wait, the colors getting neither darker nor lighter, proved right.

ReplyDeleteAlas, dear Pat. Only Pat Pauly can make a Pat Pauly original! I think the colours of this one are exceptionally beautiful (those hot pinks!!) And that graceful motif is stunning.
