Slow Progress

Pieces (of my work above)  are resisting for sure. I am working on one that could replace a quilt now on exhibit that will be traveling for a show this winter. Many of the fabrics were made during the summer experiment time -- discharge, stamping, dying. Let's hope the finish is pleasing.

  2. Thanks Judy, still wondering where this quilt will lead. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well!

  3. Do you just start working on a piece without a "plan" in mind? Or do you have a vague idea of what you hope to accomplish?

  4. It looks like there is no plan here, and sometimes I do work spontaneously, but here I started with a photo and took the underlining structure, then broke it into areas, then used my "precious" fabric to fill in the design. So, I did have a road map for this. I hope to finishe in a week or so, and will publish the final work soon.
