Scarves that will travel with me to Art Quilt Tahoe have been printed and then washed and washed and washed. Seems that the Pro Chem thickener (which I love) is reeking havoc with leaving the print stiff and 'gluey'. It takes a hot wash with premixed soda ash and synthropol (after previous washes) to rid the stiff.
