Taking Care of Art

I've wanted to do this for years. Sealed since the mid-eighties, this oil stick drawing was in the original frame mounted to an acid foam core board. Time to give it a proper framing. I've added a closeup of the signature which reads Juliana F Williams with a date unclear. Titled "Man Picking His Teeth"!

  2. Juliane was the wife of Judd Williams who taught printmaking at RIT in 1972-1974 when I was a Grad student. She had a shrink wrapping set up and wrapped a few drawings I did.
Sadly, she passed in 2011, and Judd in 2018. He was a great teacher who encouraged any creative spark in his students.

    1. Yes, they were very influential and lovely people. This work was the first art I bought as a couple.
