Something Learned

I'm adding a facing here, ready to stitch and pivot around the corner. I've never been able to sight this measure of 1/4" from the next edge. I inch along with multiple pivots to check. I suddenly realized that the end of the metal from needle out to inset gap (top of the 'U') was the perfect measure.
