The Iron Quilter Challenge presented the theme "A Disappearing Act" to the competition. Nancy Hicks made this sketch, which she fleshed out in fabric, for her piece. Not a big fan of sketching, I am always intrigued when I see someone else's drawing display freedom and expression.
From what I can tell by what you've posted about your work methods, you are a fan of sketching -- but you call it "working things out on the design wall."
ReplyDeleteYou got that, oh perceptive one! I do like to draft things out, most of the time using shapes instead of line. Makes sense to me. That is why the line sketches interest me.
