It's time to crank up the hot water to "melt" (150 F) and hose down the screens I'll take with me next week. I've a standard utility sink outfitted with a typical kitchen faucet with a pull-out sprayer. The small additional force and the hot water make short work of washing out the soy wax and thickened dye.
My first thought: what about wax buildup in your plumbing pipes?
ReplyDeleteRight. Well, I've been here over a decade and no problem I've had. The soy wax melts with the hot water, and must be enough to send it on liquid-like. I like the fact that there'd be more if I put it on the fabric instead of the screen. So, the amount of soy wax is minimal.
