The rain subsided and today was a walk to the coastline beach. On the east coast, it seems that the beach is property of individuals, mostly, and here the public access is considerable. This may just be my observation and not true. I'm glad for the ability to roam nevertheless.
Don't know what California's laws are, but in Oregon the public, not any individual, owns the beach. Welcome to the Left Coast.
ReplyDeleteThe California beaches are open to anyone, but sometimes access is difficult because houses are built so close together and one cannot cross private property to get to the beach. There are laws, but not always enforced.
