Opening tonight was the Made in New York exhibit at the Schweinfurth Art Center in Auburn, New York. Many very good pieces here, so I'm in good company. This is "The Apple Doesn't Fall Far" and is a whole cloth print. Fiber was in great acceptance in this show, and a pleasure to see.
The Schweinfurth is such an asset to the upstate arts community -- especially the fiber arts community.
ReplyDeleteThis exhibition includes all media, and happily, first prize went to fiber work. I can't think of other exhibitions that prize fiber work as legit as this one.
