A new installation on American Realism is at the Portland Art Museum, and a stop there today reminded me why I so love doing this. Some were old friends, some new. The bronze of two very touching figures is by an artist who's label was elusive, so sorry I can't share.
Pat, I'm glad you enjoyed the Modern American Realism selection from the Smithsonian's Sara Roby Foundation collection! That piece is "One and Another" (1934), by Hugo Robus: https://americanart.si.edu/artwork/one-and-another-21089
