I'm Home

We finally got some snow. This I know cause I've looked out my back door. Which means I'm home. You know I travel (a lot this year!) but I'm hunkered down, home, looking for fun. Distract me from my studio, and invite me over,  you hometown chums.

  1. I have a lady's head planter, too (actually two) but was afraid to leave them out for the winter and hauled them into the garage. Have you had any trouble with yours, who is stunning with her seashell hair.

    1. Hi Norma,

I read your note, and then forgot to answer! This head is made from PLASTIC. So, no problem getting frozen. Two years ago massive ice fell on her head, smashed it to bits, and I rebuilt her with bondo. Hard to see, but it was almost a goner. Love to plant her. It looks like stone, but it's really plastic. Ha!

  2. Mine are real stone and very heavy, about 15 pounds. I put one on a pedestal on my front porch and plant her with Creeping Jenny, which cascades down like hair. I even have to give her a haircut periodically. The other one has a flat back and hangs on the wall of my patio and I plant her wth succulents.
