Critic's Choice

I rarely post two images, but here is the dilemma. Which setting is more appealing? Please weigh in your choice. The light bits in the center, or the light bits in the corner?

  1. My vote is for the first photo with the light bits in the corners. It looks more natural - as if the leaves are sitting on top of other leaves. Not placed or contrived.

  2. Like the one with light in the corners!!

  3. I love both. The lighter corners give a lighter, brighter feel. The lighter center is a stronger design.

  4. I like the light in the center. It makes the leaves seems floating up and out.

  5. #2 (light in the center) feels more unified and dynamic to me. My eye is drawn to the center. Leaves seem to gently spin like a pinwheel. (I love the tiny red bits between the leaves on the yellow!). #1 (light in the corners) feels more static and tranquil. The forest floor. A little more focus on the individual leaves.

  6. Hmmm, a good dilemma or pondering! Light in the center attracts me first...but, do like the other as more natural.

  7. The corners, that surprises me, I would have thought the center.

  8. The symmetry of the light pieces in the middle looks best to me.

  9. Well, many thanks for all the feedback! I love each reason for either situation. And I had been leaning one way, now to be swayed to another. Guess I'll have to sleep on it one more night.
