Much Rather Be Outside
Working on underpainting fabric that will be wrapped and dyed later. How I wish I could dry this outside. But outside it is snowing, so for now, the wet studio will have to do. But, a bit messy!
Hi Beth, I take a plain pfd fabric that has no soda ash or anything else, and roll dye into it. Then it drip drys. When dry, I roll it onto a pvc pipe and scrunch it for shibori dyeing. It goes into the dye bucket, then later I add soda ash. Beautiful when I am through all this.
What is under painting?
