Seeking art, I visited the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo today. Know around the world for its contemporary art collection, and holding many of my favorites, I spotted a recent work by Theaster Gates called
Civil Tapestry 5, from 2012. It is decommissioned fire hoses on oil cloth mounted on wood panel. Wow -- fiber!
