Twenty-five Sketches
Paper and cloth are sewn to a cardstock to form a sketch for a piece I would like to make. Of these, I might like two. So, tomorrow morning, with fresh energy, I will do more.
This method of sketching came from a class I took with Elizabeth Busch. I have used it ever since, and encourage it -- but the collage method is just a wonderful way to see design and composition without that pencil sketch (which for me is just a line, and no shape!).
Love these. And what a great idea for generating concepts!
